I bought travel insurance in February 2020 for my trip to London from 3/8 to 16/8/2020 unfortunately due to 19 covid conditions, we had no option of not being able to travel, I asked for a refund of my premium the company rejected my request.
It should also be noted that this was a period of very great uncertainty where I had a hard time remembering that I had to ask for this refund before my trip started because my trip didn’t even start because of Covid-19. I actually can’t believe that your company is so rigid and incomprehensible despite being in a state of a global epidemic.
We are also not allowed to travel in this covid state. It’s not accurate to expect us to remember when our journey should have started, especially since I was busy applying for a refund with SQ in the first place – which respectfully reminds us to ask for a refund.
For trips that are completely canceled by the government, should the refund not be done automatically, or should your company not send us warnings/notifications?
